My First blog

My First blog

So I've been putting this off for some time.... My blog. There are several reasons for this rather reluctant approach but 3 stand out the most:

1) Are people really going to be interested in what I've got to say?
2) Do I have enough to say?
3) Where on earth am I going to find the time to write this blog?...

I've already re-read what I've written and found loads of typos. I need to work out spell check on this thing - I'm sure it's an option in a check box somewhere. If not, you'll simply have to put up with all my typos as my fingers work out of sync with my brain.

Technically speaking 'my fiorst blog' should be 'my first post', but I feel i should leave it as is - after all, that's what I wrote initially and I want this to be quite an instinctive, train of thought blog, rather than a really thought out master piece - it might make reading challenging at times, but hopefully it'll bring a smile to your face - if you find yourself reading this....

So, my blog. I have no idea really what I'm going to write about. It makes sense, having set up stewed! to have a bit of a busienss angle to it, but also a real foodie angle, after all, with my cookbook out in October, this is going to play a huge part in my life from now on.

Then there's the 'get up and do it' angle.... so perhaps this blog will simply be a rambling of food, recipes, a bit of inspirational chatter and also an account of running a startup business.... we'll see!

The good thing is, I've already started to enjoy writing this!  Which, I hope will make an interesting read from time to time...

That's it for now, I've signed in, blogged, posted a blog, started the feed  etc etc.... on to the next!

  3. Well done Alan for starting up a blog! You’ve always given me plenty of good advice with humour, during the on-going tough times that all start up businesses have – especially in the food industry. Good luck with it all! x
